Note: RE-START version NOT recommended for V-Twin applications over 103 Cubic Inches (CI), high compression ratios, or modified motors due to the extremely high current draw of such V-Twin engines.  Please use a non-RE-START version such as YTX20, YTX12-24, YTX12-20, or V-10.

Antigravity suggests using a modern voltage regulator/rectifiter from the 1990's or more recent. Damaged voltage regulators can overcharge and damage batteries, and any over 25 year old have likely already failed.
