Daytona Pinlock 70 Lens for Detour and Glide Replacement Shields

Pinlock® 70 MaxVision™ lens insert fitted for the Detour & Glide replacement helmet shields from Daytona only.  These WILL NOT FIT STANDARD SHIELDS for Detour & Glide that come with those helmets, these only fit the optional shields for those helmets.

The moisture absorbing surface of the lens attracts and stores water molecules while an air-tight seal creates a thermal barrier between surfaces, together preventing condensation of the visor.  Pinlock® 70 MaxVision™ lens are tailored for their helmets to enable a larger field of vision vs. the universal Pinlock® 30 lens.

Installation

Before installing be sure the shield surface is clean and dry, when installing adjust the pins to ensure a tight consistent seal between the lens and shield for optimal performance.  Pinlock compatible shields have two pins with an eccentric shape to hold and adjust the tension on the lens for a proper seal. 

If you notice fogging; try removing the Pinlock insert and allowing both it and the shield to dry out thoroughly before reinstalling, and when reinstalling double-check that it is sealing with even pressure around the lens perimeter.
